「きれい」は、美しい、余計なものがない、嘘がない、などを意味します。
各現場の職人さんによる丁寧な仕事の積み重ねと、自由で気負わないデザインのバランスを大切にしながら、身に着けるもので人の心を豊かにすることを目指しています。
雪の降り積もった日にブランド名を「YUKI」に決定。

2005AWよりスタート。
シーズンコレクションのほかに、himie, Afterhours, &SUGAR, joki coffee, ベーカリーミミ, などのユニフォームも制作。

The name of the brand YUKI means “snow” in Japanese. It connects us to that slight excitement you might have felt when you woke up to a new sheet of snow in the morning.
YUKI is also used for people’s names, so people might have an affinity to it.

We believe that it is important that the clothes you wear enrich your soul, like feeling that excitement to wear them or feeling relaxed when you learn how comfortable it feels on the skin. Moreover, in Japan, we have many textile makers and factories specializing in specific fields with an accumulation of skills, by dealing with each product with a thorough work ethic that people do not readily see.
We try to pursue the right balance between thorough craftsmanship with a free minded spirit and trying not to overdesign.

We also work to reduce environmental footprints, such as producing sustainably while caring for the environment, and minimizing waste from excessive use of materials, as we have started by introducing packaging material that could return to the soil as compost.
At the same time, we try to design products that my customers feel close to, so that they would want to wear/use and live with them for a very long time.
